This is a hat made of Mexican Fine Palm. It can be worn in the rain without an umbrella. It is one of the few straw hats that does not lose its shape after it dries out.

I keep at least 2 all the time.
The older one is a work hat Shallac on the brim to keep shedding water an keep it’s shape.
The new one is for when I’m not working (don’t get used much)
I just keep rotating them-
