Exchange/ Return Policy
At Az Tex Hats, we strive to make shopping a pleasure for you. We will accept returns of unworn hats for exchange or refund within 20 days of delivery. Many of our hats come with security and information tags. Removal of these tags voids this return policy.
Due to the specialized nature of special occassion hats, we cannot offer refunds on these. This includes holiday-specific hats such as Ladies Church Hats, Kentucky Derby Hats, Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. No refunds on these hats. There is No Return on Custom Made Hats or Hats that are Custom Altered. No Return on Bulk Orders (bulk orders are orders of 3 or more hats of the same style.)
Unless the error is ours, if you are exchanging a hat, an additional $15.00 shipping charge is applied. Full instructions are included with each package. If you have any questions about our policies, please call us at 1 800 972 2116.
If you need to return merchandise, please follow these steps in order to make sure your return is handled properly.
- Call 1 800 972 2116, Monday-Saturday, 10:00-5:00 MST, and let our Customer Service Representative know what the problem is.
- Our Customer Service Representative will give you a Return Authorization number. Please write this number on the outside of the box and on the Return Slip that you are sending back with the hat.
- Returns other than our error will have a 15% restocking fee deducted from the refund. When we receive the hat and Return Slip, we will process your refund usually in 14 days or less.
- If the hat has any kind of tag on it, removal of the tag will void the return. Do not remove tags.
- We cannot accept hats that are worn or damaged. Please return hats within 20 days.
- Bulk orders are not returnable. (Bulk orders are 3 or more items of the same style.)
- Pack the hat carefully and insure the box. We are not responsible for hats damaged in shipping.
- Shipping charges are not refundable. No returns on Special Orders.
- Make sure the box you are returning the hat in is in good condition. If the box was damaged in shipping, please use a new box.
- In cases of in-house error, shipping charge reimbursements will be made for ground rates and will never exceed $40. The reimbursement will occur when the merchandise is received back in new and unworn condition.
